My boyfriend and I were visiting Philly and I really wanted to try boba so we stopped in here earlier in the day. I did not catch the cashiers name but she was so friendly and helpful early in the afternoon! We went to dinner and I decided to go back afterwards for another drink. The moment I walked in she was so excited to see me and exclaimed “You’re back!” If we ever come back to Philadelphia (which I absolutely want to) we are definitely going to make a stop in here again ❤️

Nice little tea shop that has dope tunes and tasty drinks. Peach green tea with boba and lychee jelly was delicious. Would recommend

My favorite boba tea cafe in Chinatown! Their Vietnamese coffee with cheese foam is my favorite treat and it’s perfect, the cheese foam is phenomenal and hard to find. Their other tea is super fresh and their boba is always perfect. The service is top tier here as well which rounds out the experience perfectly

Shing Tea 79 is a little hole-in-the-wall boba place at first glance but has ample space inside and lots of options on the menu for milk tea and fruit tea lovers alike! Whenever I try a new boba place, I check for non-dairy milk options and unique milk tea flavors. I was happy to see the rose milk tea and ordered that with non-dairy creamer (default), 50% sugar, light ice and boba! The staff was training so it did take some time to receive our orders, but we didn’t mind. I’d recommend turning your drink upside down to mix it, as mine had flecks of white stuck to the sides, and I wasn’t sure whether what it was. Besides that, the rose flavor was wonderful and the boba was pretty soft and sweet. The fruit tea we got was 0% sugar but was sweeter than my drink, so make sure you confirm your order, or expect the toppings (lychee jelly and others) to add a lot of sweetness naturally. Not sure if I’d return but I appreciated the experience!

This is the best tea I’ve ever had. I’ve tried so many famous teas, but nothing compares to this. I came here while traveling, and I’m seriously considering coming back within a day just to get a second cup. Please open a location in Houston—I’m so sad to be leaving the city because of this tea shop.
